Data were collected in monthly campaigns and are a continuation of the data of the seventies. This dataset contains information on the quantities of by-catches (both fish and invertebrates) in the shrimp fisheries. more
The shrimp research was primarily focused on the analysis of the database that was built in the period 1973-1980. This database includes data on the abundance, biomass and population composition of the shrimp, the abundance, biomass and length distribution of shrimp predators, catches and fishing effort of the shrimp fleet. The comparative experiments to investigate the influence of sampling techniques on the calculations of the abundance, biomass and population composition of shrimp were continued in 1981 and 1982 and this in combination with the semi-annual surveys of shrimp populations in coastal waters. Since 1983 until 1997, research was done on the 'Demersal Fish Survey' campaigns.
