Abstract
The nematode communities from 102 stations in the Southern Bight of the North Sea, sampled between 1972 and 1984, are examined. On the whole, 456 species, belonging to 159 genera and 37 families were found. Multispecies patterns are analysed by means of cluster analysis (Bray-Curtis dissimilarity coefficient). Twinspan classification and DCA ordination. Generally, the Southern Bight can be divided into six main areas on the base of nematode species composition.
