Definition
The different measurements included in the dataset. For each measurement a parameter, unit and methodology can be described.
If your parameter can be defined as a standard vocabulary – e.g. a term from BODC (link to https://www.bodc.ac.uk/resources/vocabularies/parameter_codes/) – you can enter the name or URL of that parameter, for example

• Parameter: "water temperature" OR http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P01/current/TEMPDTNX/ OR TEMPDTNX (BODC)
• Unit: degree Celsius OR http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P06/current/UPAA/ OR UPAA BODC
• Method/Protocol: measured by a digital thermometer OR Protocol for microplastics sampling on the sea surface and sample analysis: https://dx.doi.org/10.3791/55161

Note: Every dataset has at least one parameter, be that just count, presence/absence, or similar.
